Living Enrichment Center was a “mega church” with a congregation estimated between 2,000 and 5,000. It often featured famous speakers, such as Deepak Chopra, Marianne Williamson, Wayne Dyer, Arun Gandhi, Kenny Loggins, Neal Donald Walsch, and many others, many of whom are featured in this video.

Living Enrichment Center closed amid a $20 million dollar financial scandal only a year after the production of this video. The scandal was directly related to the content of this promotional video: requests for donations to the church. Many of the donations to the church were deposited directly into the personal bank accounts of Mary Morrissey and her husband Ed Morrissey. As of this writing (8/06) Ed Morrissey, who had served as CFO of Living Enrichment Center, is in prison for money laundering. As a result of the plea bargain struck with the state of Oregon, Mary Morrissey is not serving prison time but has been required to pay back $10 million of loans to congregants, and she is barred from selling securities. As of this date, only $42,000 has been repaid to congregants, and yet Mary Morrissey continues to conduct high cost retreats and workshops around the country.
